The discotheque is a playground where fantasy mingles with reality. Simulated horns and other frills made from daily materials melt luxury into the familiar. The simple symmetries found in the Primordial False Staghorn Fern visually contradict the complexity of nature. Its image branches around the room, exhibiting the mysteries of the wilderness. The tiny size of the installation cloisters the participant, inducing an intimate experience within a social space. Analog vibrations from an electric organ harmonize with the ready-made digital beats of a dynamic phase synthesizer, keeping the listener in an endless break.
