Skateboarders have a heightened understanding of their bodies. They harmonize excessive physical enjoyment with constant injury.
Learning to heal my body from skating has helped me process mental and emotional anxieites, one of which is my relationship with food.
Refined sugar is addictive and unhealthy. These sets of candy hardware are scented with cinnemon oil, and antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antiseptic material. The destructive and healing properties of these two ingredients allude to the paradox between joy and pain experienced while skateboarding.
The Celestial Hunt

It is the Maiden who tames, pacifies, and slays the celestial Unicorn. Their Horns have been valued up to ten times their weight in gold and are said to increase sexual potency.
Mystified by the morbidly exquisite displays of mountain heads found in hunting lodges she visited as a child, the artist used the serendipitous and splendid nature of glass to mimic the ultimate animal trophy.
